Oertli OS4 is the flagship in the company's range of surgical devices. The surgical platform uses the laws of physics and fluidics to ensure maximum predictability and safety of surgery.

It is based on a system of combining the work of two types of pumps: peristaltic and Venturi. Peristaltic provides a passive vacuum during occlusion, which positively affects manipulations requiring high concentration and accuracy. Venturi, on the other hand, provides a constant vacuum with a high rate of reaction to the surgeon's actions. The system combines them and provides controlled flow and controlled vacuum at the same time, providing unparalleled accuracy in surgery. During phacoemulsification, it is possible to be sure of the stability of the anterior chamber due to easyPhaco technology, which directs ultrasound energy directly into the lens fragment, ensuring continuous, controlled emulsification. High-frequency diathermy modes for deep sclerectomy and capsulotomy greatly simplify the operation for performing actions requiring high concentration.

LED technology LED Goodlight, used in OS4 for endo illumination, provides the optimal combination of visualization and safety, since it has very low toxicity and very good contrast and light. Caliburn trocar systems provide perfect access to the rear segment of the eye, due to the smoothness of the incisions and excellent tightness of the wound. Pneumatic vitreotomas with a speed of up to 10,000 cuts per minute create a continuous flow and optimal portioning during vitrectomy.
